Gennady joined the Communications Department in September 2007. As Online Communications Coordinator, Gennady oversees a variety of online engagement and media relations efforts, including coordination of key elements of the Demos Books Project. Gennady also serves content editor for Demos.org, the Ideas Action Blog, and affiliated Demos websites.

Previously, Gennady held internships in Demos' Economic Opportunity Program as well as at the Brennan Center for Justice, and in the office of then Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. He graduated from New York University (NYU) in 2007 Magna Cum Laude with a degree in political science, and concentrations in economics, media and legal studies.
