Demos is emerging as a leading venue for discussion of some of the most critical issues facing our society. We have held over 250 events since the Ideas for Change series began in 2002, and a number of America's leading authors and public intellectuals have spoken at Demos, including Barbara Ehrenreich, Thomas Frank, Bob Herbert, Derrick Bell, Julianne Malveaux, Bill Moyers, Kevin Phillips, Theda Skocpol, Elizabeth Warren, Benjamin Barber, Jim Wallis, and Paul Krugman.

In the coming year, we plan to continue and expand the series, working to ensure that our events will reflect and add value to current public and political debates. These will include a continuation of special Demos Forum Series on Race, Labor, Women's Leadership, and an emerging series on Regulation. Check here for regular updates.
